What are Varicose Veins
Varicose veins are enlarged veins that can be blue, red, or flesh-colored. They are often raised above the skin on the legs and look like twisted bulging cords. Varicose veins occur when the valves in the veins that carry blood from the legs toward the heart no longer function, causing blood to pool in the legs.
The VenaCure EVLT™ procedure treats the source of unsightly varicose veins with no hospital stay, minimal-to-no scarring, no lengthy recovery, and minimal-to-no side effects. In less than an hour, you can be free from bulging, twisted varicose veins and back to enjoying your everyday activities.
The procedure is safe, fast, and effective. With the VenaCure EVLT™ procedure by AngioDynamics, you can show off your legs again. We invite you to use this website to learn about vein disease, compare varicose vein removal treatment alternatives, hear what other patients and the media are saying, and then, if you think you’re a candidate, find a local physician trained in performing the procedure.
