TURNING VISION INTO REALITY
Strategic planning supports the rapid growth of new surgical practice, IBI Healthcare Institute, plans to open its newest location in Buckhead Atlanta.
In the summer of 2011, Surgeons Chris Ibikunle and Angelina Postoev brought their vision for a new type of surgical practice to Walton County, Georgia. They were physicians and professors at one of the nation’s leading academic medical centers, the Cleveland Clinic. “We felt there was a need to expand access to high-quality care services in suburban and rural American communities,” says Dr. Ibikunle, MD FACS who is called “Dr. Chris” by his patients. “We also wanted to create a patient-centered approach to providing health care services. The core of our work is to actively involve, engage, and commit patients to achieving optimum health. To achieve this methodology, we’d have to create a new model from the ground up”
In 2011, Dr. Chris and Dr. Angelina, MD FACS, established their primary office in Loganville, GA. Fast forward to 2019, IBI Healthcare Institute formed a partnership with the esteemed global health firm, IBI. Consequently, this collaboration has facilitated the expansion of its health practice and its unique platform.
Buckhead, Atlanta
As a result, IBI Healthcare Institute has accomplished its goal of expanding its presence to multiple satellite locations. These locations include Tampa – Florida and Buckhead – Atlanta, as well as several regions in Georgia.
Moreover, Dr. Chris and Dr. Angelina prepare to open their newest location in Buckhead, Atlanta on September 16, 2019. Finally, this stands as a monumental milestone and serves that their vision is coming to a successful, thriving reality.
