Firstly, what exactly is the O-shot?
Dr. Nicole Kanaris, aesthetic doctor and founder of MedAesthetique, administers the O-Shot or Orgasm Shot, a trademarked procedure with a variety of sexual and medical benefits. This procedure has trained only eight doctors in the USA to administer.
Developed by Dr. Charles Runels in the US, the procedure has only been around since 2011. Kanaris traveled to Beverly Hills in 2016 to train in giving this 30-minute treatment.
A vampire facial for your vagina…
The O-Shot or Orgasm Shot involves injecting platelet-rich Plasma (PRP) into a patient. “Kanaris explains that they draw half a tablespoon of blood from the client’s arm in the same way as any blood test.”
“They then spin it in a centrifuge, which allows the blood components to separate and isolate the platelet-rich plasma.”
The doctor injects this plasma into the client’s genitalia (near the clitoris and vaginal wall), stimulating growth and repair as it contains several different growth factors and other cytokines that heal soft tissue.
